When to Feed your Pet Cool Weather Blend™
and Warm Weather Blend™

The general guideline is to start feeding Cool Weather Blend™ beginning on the Autumn Equinox on about September 23rd.  Six months later, at the Spring Equinox on about the 21st of March, begin feeding Warm Weather Blend™.

Converting Between Warm
and Cool Weather Blends

Every region has a slightly different time when cool weather gives way to warmer weather and vice-versa as the seasons invariably change. In general you should make the switch from one blend to the other during the Fall and Spring. For example, converting from Cool Weather Blend™ to Warm Season Blend™ should occur on about the end of March as this signals the beginning of Spring. If your region tends to experience a late Spring in terms of temperature, then extending the use of our Cool Weather Blend™ a few extra weeks can be beneficial. Similarly, the conversion from Warm Weather Blend™ to Cool Season Blend™ should take place on about the end of September.

The exact day you begin converting is not crucial. Your pet will be eating their healthy, climate-specific diet for many months before the next coversion period occurs. Just remember: Spring begins on about the 21st of each March and Fall begins on about the 23rd of September, as shown on the circular feeding chart below. This is the best time to convert from one blend to the next as appropriate for your pets. Because of our unique patented process that properly delivers the correct amount of digestible metabolic energy needed without causing gastrointestinal upset, you may convert from Cool Weather Blend™ to Warm Weather Blend™ safely.

If you have any remaining blend left at the end of the season, you may mix it with the new blend throughout the 90 day conversion period shown in the circular feeding chart below. Mixing the two blends for the entire 90 day period is not required. Just continue adding smaller and smaller amounts of the previous blend until it is depleted.
